Welcome to the new layout, "Glow" with wonderful header created by Nemesis. This time, I have kept the gallery in line with the site, but slightly different from it, so make sure to check out the layout there too.
I have added the very beautiful wallpaper to the website, too. But wait for the next art update this week, with many many new wallpapers, avatars and several blends.
There is also a brand new right kind of music video to compliment the new layout: Wrong kind of Place.

And they're all about happy endings...
Beth Allen deftly portrayed pain, confusion and panic during one of her monologues when her character feared she’d lost her clitoris. There was a happy ending to the tale however and again Allen captured the elation and joy of her character’s freedom and empowerment.

For those who follow Shortland Street, it is well known that Beth Allen's character Brooke Freeman is currently facing the possibility of having ovarian cancer, one of the cancers with very few symptoms at an early stage and most difficult to treat.
The idea for the storyline actually came from Beth Allen who is now opelnly talking about her own ordeals as well as those of her family when it comes to cancer.
You can read the article here. (Thanks to Emma for the scan)
For more information about gynaecological cancer, please visit Silver Ribbon Foundation.
Care about your health and be happy.

Beth Allen captured!
Screencaptures from the beginning of the latest season of Shortland Street - from episodes 1-15 (the ones Beth has appeared in)

From today's episode of Shortland Street.
Brooke worries when Callum takes his time getting back to her about
her appointment to the medical ward.
Callum and Rachel offer her the job. However, Brooke begins to fear that she may not cut it on the medical ward, having not worked on the hospital floor for many years.
She over compensates by printing out screeds of research on every medical patient's condition. Nicole realises she has a lack of confidence in her abilities.
However, Nicole is impressed when Brooke displays excellent doctoring skills with a pregnant patient.
Nicole begins to respect Brooke, but is furious when Brooke bails on her in an emergency with a patient that has measles.
Brooke is reprimanded by Callum, so she justifies leaving the emergency by admitting to being pregnant.
If it's true, then it shall definitely be an interesting storyline and a challenge for Beth Allen. But I'm sure she'll be great at it and hope she'll get to be a mom on Shortland Street as well.
Apparently, it was just a false hope. So Brooke gets to carry on as her manipulative self.

So vote for Beth Allen and maybe we'll get another great interview soon.

Finally, I have managed to update the video section with three new music videos.
Lost & Found is an imaginary "what would the Mallrats be doing in 2010"
Castles& Kingdoms focuses on Amber and baby Bray (also has some "future" clips in it).
Through the Barriades is a more classical Amber & Bray music video. But there too are twists.
For Shortland Street fans I have a little Beth snippet from late 2009.
Watch, comment and Keep the Dream alive!
